Let me start by saying this — if you haven’t raised your prices in the last year or two, it’s time to do so! As your business grows and evolves, your skills develop and your client experience improves. Therefore, your prices should not be staying stagnant!
With my recent rebrand, my prices have increased and I’d like to be transparent about why:
1. My process has been streamlined to a ONE WEEK timeline!
Yep, a typical website used to take upwards of MONTHS at a time depending on client feedback, current workload, etc. Now, I can get your template customization completed in just five days. I dedicate the entire workweek to just one client, we start on Monday, and the website is launched by EOD Friday. This bitch is organized now, y’all! And I know that a quicker turnaround time is worth a bigger investment. Boom.
2. Exclusive new templates are now INCLUDED.
I’ve introduced three new Showit templates designed by me (and more to come!) that you can choose from when booking your template customization with me. This doesn’t mean you HAVE to use one of these (I still love and recommend all of my Showit template design partners!) but if you do, you can save some big bucks and start with an exclusive template that’s only available to my clients.
3. SEO + tech experts have been added to the LYD team!
Thus far, I’ve been handling all of the SEO strategy, applying the SEO basics to images and pages, as well as the domain connection, blog migration, and other tech stuff—all by myself. I know that a big key to scaling your biz is outsourcing any areas that aren’t your main area of expertise, and while I’d been doing just fine handling all that for my clients, I also know I’m not the EXPERT on this stuff. By bringing in team members who ARE experts in these areas, this not only makes me better equipped (and in a better mood! lol) to work with you, but it also ensures that you’ve got experts handling the tech behind your site. Not to mention, you get a full-on, personalized SEO strategy and video walkthrough delivered post-launch. A price increase is NECESSARY at this point, amirite?!
4. Time has passed. I’ve gotten better at what I do.
Like I mentioned at the beginning of this post, prices SHOULD increase over time no matter what. Even if I hadn’t added all of this other good stuff to my client experience, I deserve to get paid more as my skills and the experience I deliver both increase. Again, the same goes for you, too!
5. Extra lil’ goodies along the way!
I used to loooove planning out surprise gifts for my clients, but in the last couple of years, I’ve just been too overwhelmed to do so. This new streamlined approach will allow me to dedicate more time and energy to each client, and you’ll just have to book with me if you want to see what I mean! 😉
