Exciting Launches, Scary Leaps, and More Backstreet Boys — Our Year Two in Review!

[Reading Time: 2 minutes]

We’re celebrating the TWO year anniversary of Launch Your Daydream today!

While we’ve been working together for almost four years now, Launch Your Daydream came to be after we decided to finally merge our individual branding + website design businesses together. Take a look at last year’s year in review here!

As we looked back at the last year, a few words come to mind:  Focused, specialized, clarity, visibility.

We decided in the last year to specialize down to working exclusively with photographers. Naturally, as a result of that, our internal processes and team shifted a bit. Our goal has ALWAYS been to provide the best experience to our clients and to make sure they truly have a customized brand that helps them feel confident.

We worked with a business coach to get more clarity in our business model and more visibility into our business. Because of this, we connected with SO MANY AMAZING PHOTOGRAPHERS in the industry. Not just clients, but positive, exciting collaborations, too! Eeeek!!!

We also hugged more Backstreet Boys this year, so there’s that. That alone deserves to be celebrated. 😉

Thank you to ALL of you, our family, our friends and everyone that has supported this journey, so far. We’re both incredibly excited to see where Launch Your Daydream goes in the next year! Big things to come. 😉

And, last, but certainly not least…. here’s a little gift for you!

NOTE: Trends evolve over time and some of our older blog content may no longer be up to date! Take note of the date at the top of this post and acknowledge that some things may have changed since this was initially published. :)

Showit is a creative website builder for photographers. It's also what we use for all of our design clients!

Not quite sure if Showit is right for you? Wondering how to make the switch from your current website platform? We've got all your answers right here!

By the way, I'm not a photographer—I'm a designer and strategist FOR photographers. For the past 5 years, LYD has worked directly with a variety of photographers to not only create unique brands + websites for them, but to also ensure that those websites are getting consistent and relevant traffic.

This business runs on boy bands, pizza deliveries, & lots of reality TV.

Hi! I'm kelsey.
