Planning out a month’s worth of content (in one sitting!) for your photography business sounds like a dream, right?
Before we show you how you can do all of this in one sitting, let’s make sure you have the TWO THINGS YOU NEED before doing so. The last thing you want to do is get all excited that you’re going to plan, plan, plan and you get stuck!
When we talk about the aesthetics of your brand, we mean your color palette, logo, patterns, additional design elements, etc. It’s important to not only have these, but also to understand how to use them throughout all touch points of your brand. The ‘cohesive’ part is really important here. You can have a beautiful brand design, but if you don’t display it in a cohesive way on all platforms, your entire brand image can be misinterpreted.
This cohesive brand identity we’ve been talking about also includes your voice. Don’t worry, we won’t ask you to sing (unless you’re a Backstreet Boy. And if that’s the case.. CALL US!).
Your ‘voice’ is the way you ‘talk’ to prospective clients and current clients through touch points like social media, emails, phone calls, and your website (and of course, in person- if that’s something that you do!). This voice must match the aesthetic appearance of your brand.
For example, if your brand is full of bright, bold, loud colors—you want your brand voice to be peppy, happy, and fun. This may mean using some informal language in your Instagram captions, making sure you’re cheery on the phone, and/or adding a smiley face or two to your emails. But, if your brand aesthetic is upscale and elegant, you would want to shy away from smiley faces and informal language. Instead, you’d want your emails and website copy to have a professional, refined voice. See where we’re going with this?
The best way to figure out what your brand aesthetic and voice should be is to reflect back to your niche, your why, and your dream client.

And within a month I had already booked 5 weddings. (I had ONE wedding the year before....one!) Based on my success since then, I could ultimately see my business double in bookings again this year. It's been amazing!!"
