Don’t panic, though! We’re here to share with you exactly what needs to go on your photography website’s home page.
This is also called your mission statement. Having a mission statement front-and-center on your website helps attract your dream clients and even helps you show up in Google when clients search for you. Easy breezy, right!?
Wow your clients when they land on your website! You really only have a few seconds to do it. If they land on your website and see photos that take their breath away, they’re likely to stay on it. One of our favorite examples of this is with one of our clients, Golden Aura Photography.
Don’t leave your visitors hanging with a bunch of photos and text! Create a CTA (call-to-action) button that takes them to where they should go next. Don’t give them more than three, though, because that will just overwhelm them!
The footer of your website is all the way at the bottom. Make sure you have copyright information there to protect your content. In addition to that, add in your social media icons to get those clients to follow you!
If you have these specific items on your home page, you are ahead of the game! You can always add more, but make sure you’re not overwhelming those clients. Your logo should be easily identifiable, your colors should be your specific brand colors, and no more than three fonts to keep things clean!
