New Brand + Showit Website Launch — Anne Casey Photography in Baltimore, MD

[Reading Time: 3 minutes]

It’s time to show off a new photography brand and website for Anne Casey Photography in Baltimore, MD!

When Anne inquired with us, she expressed what she really wanted to accomplish with this re-brand:

  • She wanted her clients to get a true feel for who she is BEFORE they reached out to her
  • Showing off the experience she provides her clients was SUPER important to her site design
  • Bring in fun elements of dad jokes, puns, pizza, sushi, coffee, dogs, and Gilmore Girls

With requirements like that, we both were ready to JUMP IN to Anne’s new brand + website! Can you blame us?! 😉

Now, let’s show you the design that happens when sushi, dogs, and Gilmore Girls are involved!

Brand Design with Kelsey

Anne Casey’s wedding dress was a beautifully poofy, layered, cream-colored skirt paired with a black top and sparkly belt. For her portraits, she wore it with a leather jacket to complete the non-traditional “James Bond wedding vibe” she was going for.

Why are we rambling about Anne’s wedding dress?

Because it’s the epitome of her personality and the vibe we wanted to create for her photography brand.

Anne is bold, edgy, fun, feminine, and unique, as is her work and the experience she creates for her clients. Anne worked with us in the past on her boudoir brand, so she already trusted us and basically just let us run wild with this brand design (SCORE!).

Our goal was to keep the core of the design really simple, with a clean + modern font-focused logo. We then brought that core design to life with accent graphics like paint strokes, splatters, and hand drawn doodles. Anne’s color palette was inspired by her own closet (which she says is full of neutrals) plus a soft mauve and blush to bring in some subtle femininity.

Website Design with Britt

We cannot even put into words how much FUN this website was to design for Anne. Seriously. She gave us complete creative control and let us truly bring in the fun, bold, and unique vibes to her brand in all the most exciting ways — and in Showit, too!

When you land on Anne’s new website, you’re immediately hit with the edgy, fun vibes of Anne’s brand.  This is one of the best parts of truly having an ENTIRE brand design from start to finish. We get to use the elements designed by Kelsey to make this website REALLY stand out for Anne’s dream clients!

So, what about those fun requirements that Anne had for this project? Check out her Meet Anne page and the Weddings page to see the biggest areas that the exciting interactive, fun factors come into play! (Including a wedding timeline! Whaaaat?!)

The know, like, and trust factor of the new Anne Casey Photography brand is felt throughout her entire website in the following ways:

  • Adjectives describing her brand on the home page
  • Testimonials throughout the entire website
  • Relatable fun facts about her marriage, recipes, dogs, sushi, and kiddos
  • Badges and recognitions on her Meet Anne and Contact pages
  • Favorite things on her Meet Anne page
  • Specifics around what an ideal Anne Casey couple is like
  • Wedding timeline on the Weddings page
  • Photos and video all about The Anne Casey Workshop

Now, let’s see Anne’s new brand…. ready!?

We love you, Anne! Congratulations!!!

PS: Are you feeling that you’re ready for your brand to FINALLY feel like you?! We would love to work with you, just like we did with Anne, to make the appearance of your photography brand match the experience you provide to your clients.
